Sinead De Butleir is a mum, wife and nurse! She became a first time mum in April of 2023 she shared her journey of both pregnancy and post partum online via her instagram account. Sinead is open and honest about the challenges of motherhood and doesn’t shy away from discussing difficult matters particularly in her post partum journey. She has a love for fashion and styling and completed a styling course in between her masters in Healthcare, as well as this she is a passionate nurse currently working in the field of oncology and palliative care.
Carmel Hughes, founder of Sage Wellbeing, is a breathwork and mindset facilitator, as well as a
workplace wellness educator. With over 20 years of experience in learning disabilities and a deep
passion for personal wellbeing, Carmel combines mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, positive
psychology, and neuroscience to help individuals and organizations achieve optimal wellbeing.
Her approach empowers people to understand their own mind, body, and nervous system, enabling
them to regulate their breath and support their wellbeing, no matter their time or location. Carmel's
focus is on providing practical, accessible techniques that fit into busy lives, offering both immersive
workshops and everyday tools to integrate wellness practices, even on the busiest days.
Breath, as Carmel believes, is the bridge that connects mind and body. By learning to adjust their
breath, individuals can shift their state at any moment – whether to relax, focus, improve athletic
performance, or sleep better. Carmel also collaborates with VHI to deliver wellness talks and events,
sharing her insights and empowering others to make sustainable, positive changes in their lives.
