  • Carmel Connor
    Carmel Connor

Firstly, Carmel is a mum of 2 teenagers. She has worked for 25 years in the area of learning disability. As her children got older it allowed her the opportunity to return to college and follow her passion and 6 years ago, she qualified as Mindfulness teacher, including neuroscience & positive Psychology.
She moved outside of her comfort zone and set up her business Mayo Mindfulness. Carmel’s focus as a working mum has always been to teach people realistic and practical tools they can incorporate into everyday life. Within this work she also practiced breathwork and was aware she wanted to explore this further.
She returned to education and since qualified as a breathwork coach. We all breathe and when we take conscious control, we can change our breath in many ways to change our state, for relaxation, focus, energy, sleep and more. Carmel’s business is called Sage Wellbeing and she has just completed a postgrad in Workplace Wellness bringing a holistic approach to wellbeing. Her focus from the beginning remains constant, sharing in a realistic and practical way tools to enable everyone to incorporate into their own daily life.
