SO much laughter and so much emotion in the room brought on by the honest and heartwarming accounts of motherhood shared by our wonderful speakers’; author and journalist Jen Hogan, 2FM presenter Jennifer Zamparelli and founder of Work Style, Sinead Brady.
There were so many but the key points we took away from the evening were:
➡️ We need to tackle the unrealistic expectations of motherhood through honest conversations
➡️ We need to stay true to ourselves and take the time to define what success means to you
➡️The importance of finding your tribe
➡️ In work ask for what you want not what you think you will get
➡️ We need to tackle the mum guilt and be kinder to ourselves
➡️ and with that in mind to seriously consider getting a cleaner #gamechanger
Thank you to every single one of you who came along, we loved seeing you all and hearing how much you enjoyed the event.
Thank you to the beautiful venue Fallon & Byrne who provided us with the delicious food and flowing wine! Thank you to OSLO Beauty for doing our nails and hair, Boodles for our beautiful jewellery and Blooming Amazing Flower Company for the stunning flowers for the speakers 🙌🏻

Tales for Tadpoles
Tales for Tadpoles aim to bring the wonderful world of children’s books and illustration into your life with beautiful – and very special gifts for children that have been carefully sourced and handpicked, and of course gifts for adults too.
Children’s books and illustration play such an important role in all our lives. As children it is how we first discovered worlds that weren’t our own, and learnt new things about the one that is. It is an unfortunate thing that a lot of adults leave behind that part of their childhood and don’t look back. In fact, a lot of picture books and illustrated stories weren’t actually created with children in mind. Just look at some of their Arthur Rackham prints! Definitely not just for children.
So whether you are buying a gift for a child, for yourself or whether you just want to take a trip down memory lane, please browse their website and get in touch if you have any questions.
L’OCCITANE, the luxurious French natural beauty, was born in 1976 and since then brings to the world the captivating colours, scents and traditions of Provence. At L’OCCITANE, we show off the very best Provence has to offer, for a glowing beauty that’s unique.
Every day, we commit to preserving the breathtaking natural environment that never ceases to amaze. L’OCCITANE works directly with over 130 French farmers and 10.000 pickers – from the immortelle fields of Corsica to the lavender fields of Provence – to ensure that the ingredients we use are of the highest quality and sourced as sustainably as possible.
The observation of nature guides our research, which is key for developing effective natural cosmetics. L’OCCITANE invests heavily in research – we have our own state-of-art research lab in the heart of Haute-Provence, in Manosque. A team of 100 researchers works in 11 laboratories, focused on topics from molecular biology to plant extraction to analytical chemistry, so we can keep raising the bar.
Our global community is King, and we try to give back through our L’OCCITANE Foundation, created in 2006. Our two main initiatives support visual impairment around the world and economic emancipation in Burkina Faso. On top of that, our employees participate in Foundation projects: from post-tsunami reconstruction in Japan to natural heritage in Provence.
